Amai Return & Refund Policy

At Amai, we take immense pride in the unique, handcrafted nature of our products. Due to the customized and artisanal processes involved, we maintain a strict policy regarding returns and refunds.

No Returns or Refunds (Standard Policy)

Amai does not accept returns or offer refunds under normal circumstances.

Each of our products is individually created, and as such, slight variations, minor imperfections, or differences in color and design are inherent to handcrafted goods. These characteristics are considered a celebrated feature of the product, not a defect, and therefore do not qualify for a return or refund.

The Only Exception: Damaged Products

The only exception to our No Refund policy is if you receive a product that is physically damaged during transit.

To be eligible for a return or refund under this exception, you must adhere to the following procedure:

1. Immediate Notification: Damage must be reported to Amai via email within 12 hours of delivery.

2. Required Documentation: Your report must include the following:

   • Clear photographs or a video vividly showing the damage to the item and the packaging.

   • Your original order number and details.

Criteria for Damage:

Please note that a return is only applicable for significant, visible damage to the product's structure. The following characteristics are inherent to our handcrafted process and do not qualify as damage:

• A slightly different color or shade compared to the image shown online.

• A loose or stray thread coming out.

• Minor variations or imperfections naturally occurring in handmade goods.

We strongly encourage you to inspect your package immediately upon receipt to ensure a smooth process if a claim for true damage is necessary.
